The wine is soft, medium-bodied, forward and ends with a short, salty, slightly drying red fruit finish. Conscientious estates made some very good wine, as you can see from my tasting notes and scores.

Bordeaux's best wines might not be the highest-scoring, the rarest, or even the most-expensive wines, but … Allow this at least 5-7 years in the cellar before pulling a cork. Ruby in color, the wine is soft, polished, juicy and loaded with sweet, ripe, fresh red fruits, herbs and spices. Full-bodied, lushly textured and with a hedonistic, fruit and chocolate filled finish, this will offer a lot of bang for the buck.
