MTT: Something Worth Jumping On

MTT: Something Worth Jumping On

Question:  What Is the Only Mammal That Won't Jump?

Bull elephants can grow to be up to 13 feet tall at the shoulder and measure up to 30 feet from tail to the tip of their trunk.  Speaking of their trunk, their trunk alone can where up to 400 lbs, while a full grown bull elephant can weigh up to 7 tons.  That is a lot of weight, and could explain why the elephant is the only mammal that cannot jump.

While the elephant is not good at jumping, it is a powerful creature that is good at moving heavy objects.  They have been recorded at moving at speeds of up to 25 miles per hour and being able to move up to 9 tons.  That is a pretty fast and powerful way to move heavy or awkward weight, but if you don't have a herd of elephants and need to move heavy or awkward freight, you might consider the Mobile Transport Tray or MTT.

The MTT was developed by Innovative Transport Solutions.  It is capable of handling up to 26 tons of freight which makes it ideal for handling steel and other heavy or awkward freight.  In addition, the fully loaded MTT can easily be pushed into a standard shipping container using a forklift truck in under a minute.  With capabilities like that even an elephant would jump on the opportunity to use the MTT.  Check out the MTT below and then jump on the phone and give our team a call to find out how you can add this powerful tool to your shipping arsenal.
